Gold Label fertiliser sets save you the decision-making - instead of putting together individual bottles, you get nutrition that is matched by the manufacturer. The basis consists of two-part A+B fertilisers and ready-made starter kits for smaller growers and professionals.
How to choose the right set
The main factor is what you grow in - each type of substrate has its own version:
- Gold Label Soil A+B - a two-part base for growth and bloom in peat and compost substrates.
- Gold Label Coco A+B - a two-part fertiliser tuned for coco substrates.
- Gold Label Hydro A+B - a base for hydroponics, with chelated micro-particles that keep nutrients available across a wide pH range.
- Gold Label Starter KIT Hydro - a cost-effective nutrient pack for hydroponics that is enough for 1 to 4 plants.
The sets are designed to provide complete NPK and micronutrients. During bloom, you can supplement them with boosters such as Ultra PK or the Ultra LED range, but the A+B base alone can handle the entire cycle.
Who is the Starter KIT for?
For anyone who is starting with hydroponics and does not want to buy large packs straight away. The KIT lets you try the system on 1 to 4 plants and see how Gold Label works.
What is the difference between the A and B component?
The nutrients are divided into two bottles because, if mixed in concentrate, they would react with each other and precipitate. That is why you add them separately to the watering solution - never mix them together in undiluted form.
