BioNova pH-: stable pH and extra phosphorus for your plants

Maintaining the correct pH in the watering solution is key to the health and vitality of your plants. Without the optimum pH, the roots cannot absorb all the nutrients they need, which leads to deficiencies and weaker results. BioNova pH- is a reliable and safe product that allows you to easily lower the pH of the nutrient solution while also supplying plants with valuable phosphorus, essential for energy and abundant flowering.

Use and dosage

You can use BioNova pH- throughout the entire growing cycle, from the first week of growth until the week before harvest, after which flushing is necessary. The product is added to the finished nutrient solution to adjust its final pH value.

The recommended dosage is 2-4 ml per 10 litres of water depending on the hardness of your water and the required pH reduction. Always add in small doses and measure the pH continuously until you reach the optimum value (usually 5.5-6.5). The supplied phosphorus is especially beneficial in the flowering stage, when plants need it most.

Tip from experienced growers: if you need to use a larger amount of pH- to adjust the water, you can reduce the dosage of your PK boosters by 10-15% and thus avoid phosphorus over-fertilisation.

The product is not intended for foliar application.

Other uses

Phosphoric acid is also a great helper when maintaining growing equipment. It effectively cleans and removes deposits from capillary irrigation, growing tables, tanks, pipes and pots.

Safety warning

Although this is a less concentrated product, it is still an acid. We therefore strongly recommend using protective goggles and gloves when handling it.
