SANlight Undercanopy STIXX 6-150 is a six-module 150 cm light for supplementary lighting of the lower levels in large and deep crops. With large plants, the top light does not reach the lower branches and the lower flowers remain weaker - undercanopy 6-150 illuminates this zone from below along the full length of the bench. It delivers 381 µmol/s at 141 W in a full spectrum, IP68 protection for professional use, and an undercanopy stand directly in the package.

Installation and power supply

The undercanopy version is supplied with an undercanopy stand, on which you place the light low between the plants; alternatively, it can be attached using spacers or a mounting kit. Electrically it is the same light as the top-light, so it does not light on its own and needs a Driver Set STIXX 3/6 (200-910 W; powers 1 to 3 6-150 lights at full output).

How does the undercanopy version differ from the top-light model?

It is physically the same LED light with the same power and flux - 141 W and 381 µmol/s. The difference is in use and in the fact that the undercanopy version includes a stand in the package: it is mounted low and shines into the lower levels of the plants, while the top-light hangs above the plants as the main lighting. The undercanopy light is added to the top light, not a replacement for it.

How much undercanopy light should be added to the top lighting?

Undercanopy is supplementary lighting, not a replacement for the main light. It is chosen according to crop density and how deeply the top light penetrates - with denser plants, it makes sense to add more lower lights. You can fine-tune the intensity with dimming on the driver. For continuous area coverage, SANlight also offers ready-made undercanopy sets.

Which driver does the undercanopy 6-150 need?

Driver Set STIXX 3/6 - it shares the same range with the 3-80 model. According to SANlight's official table, it powers 1 to 3 6-150 lights at full output (200 and 240 W one, 320 W two, 610 and 910 W three). Only 6-150 or only 3-80 may be connected to one driver, not both. The driver and cables are purchased separately, the undercanopy stand is included in the package.
