Product detailed description
Medium driver for two 6-150 luminaires
SANlight Driver Set STIXX 3/6, 320W is a Smart Driver for the STIXX 3-80 and 6-150 ranges. As the first in the range, it can run two long STIXX 6-150 luminaires at full power (2x 141 W), or three STIXX 3-80 luminaires. It is therefore suitable for a full-size tent where you want a pair of powerful luminaires from one driver.
The power unit comes without luminaires and cables and is purchased separately. You light it with STIXX 3-80 or STIXX 6-150 luminaires, which do not light up on their own.

- Input voltage: 120-240/277 V AC, 50/60 Hz
- Dimming: blue connector on the driver (M-Dimmer, Bluetooth Dimmer or 0-10V)
- Unused DC ports: termination plug (mandatory)
- Water resistance: M19 connector on the luminaire IP68; the driver mains plug is not water-resistant
Compatibility
Compatible:
- SANlight STIXX 3-80 luminaires (three luminaires at full power) or STIXX 6-150 luminaires (two luminaires at full power) - always only one range
- Undercanopy STIXX 3-80 and Undercanopy STIXX 6-150 - under-canopy versions of the same ranges
- SANlight termination plug (AI5010) for the unused DC ports of the driver
- SANlight M-Dimmer and Bluetooth Dimmer dimmers, or 0-10V signal (blue connector on the driver)
- extension cables and M19 (5 PIN) splitters from STIXX accessories for connecting multiple luminaires
Incompatible:
- mixing STIXX 3-80 and STIXX 6-150 on one driver - identical luminaires are required
- other STIXX ranges (2-60, 4-100 and 5-120) - the driver is intended only for the 3/6 range
- STIXX 50 - a closed system with its own power supply, different cabling
- EVO and FLEX II luminaires - different connector and power supply
Choice by range
According to the official SANlight table, the 320W driver can run three STIXX 3-80 luminaires, or two STIXX 6-150 luminaires at full power. First decide on the range according to the size of the space, then use the table to determine the number of luminaires. The Smart Driver can also handle fewer luminaires than the maximum, so you can gradually build up the set.
Dimming and termination
Dimming is handled by the driver, not the luminaires: the magnetic M-Dimmer, SANlight Bluetooth Dimmer or 0-10V signal is connected to its blue connector and controls the entire set at once. Each unused DC port must then be closed with a termination plug - it is mandatory, because without it the system may be damaged.
Protection and installation
The luminaire has IP68 protection on the M19 connector, the driver mains plug is not water-resistant and its connection should be kept away from moisture. Do not stack drivers on top of each other and leave at least 10 mm between them.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know how many 3-80 or 6-150 luminaires the driver can run?
The number at full power is given in the official SANlight table and is different for each range - STIXX 3-80 has lower input power (70 W) than 6-150 (141 W), so the driver can run more 3-80 luminaires. You can find the exact figures in the parameters. However, the two ranges are never combined on one driver - you power either 3-80 or 6-150, not both at once.
What happens if I do not fill all the driver ports?
Nothing, you do not have to fill them straight away. The Smart Driver recognises how many STIXX 6-150 luminaires are connected, and unused ports do not matter - just close them with a termination plug. Up to the full number of luminaires, each one lights at full power; the driver detects adding or disconnecting a luminaire itself.
Why are unused driver ports capped?
Each DC port of the driver that you do not use for a luminaire must be fitted with a termination plug (AI5010) - otherwise there is a risk of damage to the system. It is a small and inexpensive part, but it is not optional. The plug is not included with the driver or the luminaire, so remember to buy it separately when building the set.
