Large tubular heater without a thermostat Urban Heater 240W is intended mainly for growers and keepers of smaller animals.
Heating is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, grow boxes and other growing spaces.

You will use it mainly when caring for seedlings and cuttings in winter and the colder months.

For perfect control over the growing space, it is ideal to combine Urban Heater with the thermostat KT3100 or CLI-MATE Thermostat 16A - temperature controller.

When and why to use heating in indoor cultivation?
Note that it is not possible to say exactly how long it will take and to what temperature you will heat the growing space. The manufacturer does not state this information. This is because the final temperature is affected not only by the heater's power input itself, but also by the initial temperature and, above all, the size of the space. The ambient temperature and how well the interior space is thermally insulated also have an effect.

If the initial temperature inside the 100x100x200 cm growing box (space 2 m3) is, for example, 10° C and you want to raise it to 20° C, it will take some time depending on the conditions. If you want to heat a growbox 200x200x200 cm (space 8 m3) from 10° to 20° C, with the same output it will take approx. 4 times longer. With heating of lower power input, you will most likely not manage it at all.

In addition, when growing, it is not necessary to heat the entire space constantly to the maximum.

The most important thing is a constant temperature around the plants themselves. That is why heating elements are used mainly to maintain a stable temperature.

What to never do with the Urban Heater:
- do not switch it on until it is perfectly installed
- use it out of reach of children and pets
- do not handle it if the heater is connected to the mains
- do not immerse in water
- do not leave the cable draped over the heating element
- do not install the heater close to flammable and combustible objects
- if it is not in operation, disconnect it from the mains
- for cleaning, use only a damp clean cloth
