The large tubular heater without a thermostat Urban Heater 240 W is intended mainly for growers and keepers of small animals.
The heater is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, grow boxes and other growing spaces.

You will find it particularly useful when caring for seedlings and cuttings in winter and the colder months.

For perfect control over the grow space, it is ideal to combine Urban Heater with the thermostat KT3100 or CLI-MATE Thermostat 16A - temperature controller.

When and why use heaters for indoor growing?
Please note that it is not possible to say precisely how long it will take to heat the grow space or what temperature it will reach. The manufacturer does not provide this information. This is because the resulting temperature is affected not only by the heater's input power, but also by the starting temperature and, above all, the size of the space. The temperature of the surrounding environment and the quality of the internal space's thermal insulation also have an impact.

If the starting temperature inside the growing box 100 x 100 x 200 cm (space 2 m³) is, for example, 10 °C and you want to increase it to 20 °C, it will take some time depending on the conditions. If you want to heat the grow box 200 x 200 x 200 cm (space 8 m³) from 10 °C to 20 °C, it will take approximately four times longer with the same power. Heating with lower input power will most likely not be sufficient at all.

Moreover, when growing, it is not necessary to heat the entire space to maximum temperature all the time.

The most important thing is a constant temperature around the plants themselves. This is why heating elements are mainly used to maintain a stable temperature.

What never to do with the Urban Heater:
- do not switch it on until it has been perfectly installed
- keep it out of the reach of children and pets
- do not handle it while the heater is connected to the mains
- do not immerse it in water
- do not leave the cable draped over the heating element
- do not install the heater near combustible or flammable objects
- disconnect it from the mains when not in use
- use only a damp, clean cloth for cleaning
