When and why use heaters for indoor growing?
Please note that it is not possible to state precisely how long it will take to heat a grow space or what temperature it will reach. The manufacturer does not provide this information. This is because the resulting temperature is affected not only by the heater's power consumption, but also by the initial temperature and, above all, the size of the space. The temperature of the surrounding environment and the quality of the thermal insulation of the interior space also have an effect.

If the initial temperature inside a grow box measuring 100x100x200 cm (a space of 2 m³) is, for example, 10 °C and you want to increase it to 20 °C, this will take some time depending on the conditions. If you want to heat a grow box measuring 200x200x200 cm (a space of 8 m³) from 10 °C to 20 °C, it will take approximately 4 times longer with the same power. With heating with a lower input power, you will most likely not manage it at all.

In addition, when growing, it is not necessary to heat the entire space to the maximum temperature continuously.

The most important thing is a constant temperature around the plants themselves. Therefore, heating elements are mainly used to maintain a stable temperature.

What never to do with the Urban Heater:
- do not switch it on until it has been perfectly installed
- use it out of the reach of children and pets
- do not handle it while the heater is connected to the mains
- do not immerse it in water
- do not leave the cable draped over the heating element
- do not install the heater near flammable or inflammable objects
- disconnect it from the mains when it is not in use
- use only a damp, clean cloth for cleaning
