The continuously variable Urban Heater 90 W tubular heater is primarily intended for growers and keepers of small animals.
Heating is suitable for growing in greenhouses, grow boxes and other grow spaces.

It is particularly useful when caring for seedlings and cuttings in winter and colder months.

When and why use heating for indoor growing?
Please note that it is not possible to say exactly how long it will take to heat the grow space and to what temperature. The manufacturer does not provide this information. This is because the resulting temperature is affected not only by the heater's power consumption, but also by the initial temperature and, above all, the size of the space. The ambient temperature and the quality of the thermal insulation of the interior also have an effect.

If the initial temperature inside a grow box measuring 100x100x200 cm (space of 2 m³) is, for example, 10° C and you want to increase it to 20° C, this will take some time depending on the conditions. If you want to heat a grow box measuring 200x200x200 cm (space of 8 m³) from 10° to 20° C, it will take approximately 4 times longer with the same power. With heating with a lower power consumption, you will most likely not manage it at all.

Moreover, when growing, it is not necessary to heat the entire space to the maximum temperature at all times.

The most important thing is a constant temperature around the plants themselves. This is why heating elements are mainly used to maintain a stable temperature.

What never to do with the Urban Heater:
- do not switch it on until it has been installed perfectly
- keep it out of the reach of children and pets
- do not handle it while the heater is connected to the mains
- do not immerse it in water
- do not leave the cable draped over the heating element
- do not install the heater near combustible or flammable objects
- disconnect it from the mains when not in use
- use only a damp, clean cloth for cleaning
