TF
When the temperature in the tent drops below the plants’ comfort zone, germination stops and the roots stop working. The TF range from Malapa returns heat where plants need it - from heated mats under propagators to fan heaters with a thermostat for the whole grow room.
Not sure whether a mat under a propagator is enough, or whether you need to heat the whole space? Write to us at info@higarden.cz and we will fine-tune it together.

Heat is just as important for growing as light and water. In the cold season, the root-zone temperature drops, seeds germinate more slowly and plants stop taking up nutrients. The heating in the TF range from Malapa covers both levels - local root heating and heating of the entire growing space.
How to choose
The key is what you want to heat. For germination and cuttings, a heated mat is enough, raising the substrate temperature by a few degrees exactly under a propagator or propagator. To maintain the air temperature in the whole tent or room, choose fan heating or a heater with a thermostat that automatically keeps the set value.
- TF810, TF814, TF816 heating mats - output 25 to 150 W, flexible and double-sided, for heating the root zone under propagators and propagators.
- TF99, TF3100 heating with thermostat - complete 80 W, 12 V set with a stepless room thermostat for smaller enclosed spaces.
- TF300, TF370 fan heaters - output up to 2000 W with a built-in fan, stepless thermostat and frost protection for heating the whole grow room.
- TF310 heater - 400 W convector with thermostat and safety protection for smaller spaces.
When choosing heating mats, select according to the size of the propagator: TF810 covers a small 60x30 cm propagator, while the larger TF816 with 150 W output heats an area of 90x60 cm. For fan heaters, follow the volume of the space and how quickly you need to heat it - the two-speed fan in TF370 offers both 1000 and 2000 W modes.
Safety first
In a humid growing environment, protective features are important. Models with a safety thermostat and frost protection switch off automatically if they overheat and monitor the minimum temperature, so you do not leave the heater running unattended. Mats with moisture protection can operate even under a watered propagator.
Frequently asked questions
Which heating is best for seed germination?
A heated mat under a propagator. It raises the substrate temperature to the levels seeds need for germination without having to heat the whole room.
Will a heater with a thermostat keep a constant temperature by itself?
Yes. Models with a stepless room thermostat, such as TF99 or TF3100, switch on when the temperature drops below the set value and switch off when it is reached.
Can I leave a fan heater running unattended in the tent?
Choose a model with a safety thermostat and frost protection. It disconnects itself if it overheats and also monitors the minimum temperature, which significantly reduces the risk.
