LightHouse Heating keeps warmth in a grow tent, propagation room and greenhouse, and prevents temperature shocks that slow growth and open the door to mould. Our range includes two different classes - gentle tubular heaters for smaller spaces and powerful fan heaters for large greenhouses.
How to choose LightHouse Heating
The key is the relationship between heater output and the size of the heated space. For a small tent or propagation room, a low-power tubular heater is enough; for a large greenhouse, you need a fan heater with higher output and a fan that circulates the heat. The ECOHEAT range offers tubular heaters in graduated lengths and outputs from 45 W (35.5 cm long) to 240 W (126.5 cm), so you can match both output and size exactly to your space.

ECOHEAT tubular heaters warm gently and evenly, so they are suitable for sensitive seedlings and young plants, where intense heat would be harmful. Greenhouse fan heaters, by contrast, quickly heat a large volume of air. A useful accessory is the LightHouse wireless thermostat, which switches the heating on automatically according to the set temperature and thus saves energy.

What heater output do I need for my tent or greenhouse?
Follow the volume of the space and how low the temperatures need to be kept above the safe limit. For a small tent or propagation room, an ECOHEAT tubular heater with an output of 45 to 135 W is enough; for a full-size tent and a smaller greenhouse, choose 240 W; and for large greenhouses, choose a Greenhouse 2000 or 3000 W fan heater.
Does the heater have a thermostat?
ECOHEAT tubular heaters have a digital thermostat and timer, so they maintain the set temperature automatically. For fan heaters and more precise control of the whole space, the LightHouse wireless thermostat is suitable, switching the heating on and off according to the actual temperature in the tent or greenhouse.
Why is stable temperature important?
Sudden temperature drops and night-time falls stress plants, slow growth and increase the risk of mould. Stable warmth keeps plants in the optimum range and protects especially sensitive seedlings and cuttings in the first weeks.
