The thermostat-free tubular heater Urban Heater 300 W is designed mainly for growers and keepers of small animals.
It is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, grow boxes and other growing spaces.

You will find it particularly useful when caring for seedlings and cuttings in winter and the colder months.

For perfect control over the grow space, it is ideal to combine Urban Heater with the KT3100 thermostat or the CLI-MATE 16A Thermostat – temperature controller.

When and why use heaters for indoor growing?
Please note that it is not possible to state precisely how long it will take to heat the grow space or to what temperature. The manufacturer does not provide this information. This is because the resulting temperature is affected not only by the heater's input power, but also by the initial temperature and, above all, the size of the space. The ambient temperature and the quality of the thermal insulation inside the space also have an effect.

If the initial temperature inside the growing box 100x100x200 cm (space of 2 m³) is, for example, 10° C and you want to increase it to 20° C, this will take some time depending on the conditions. If you want to heat the grow box 200x200x200 cm (space of 8 m³) from 10° to 20° C, it will take approximately 4 times longer with the same output. With heating with a lower input power, you will most likely not manage it at all.

In addition, when growing, it is not necessary to heat the entire space to the maximum continuously.

The most important thing is a constant temperature around the plants themselves. Therefore, heaters are mainly used to maintain a stable temperature.

What never to do with the Urban Heater:
- do not switch it on until it has been perfectly installed
- use it out of the reach of children and pets
- do not handle it while the heater is connected to the mains
- do not immerse it in water
- do not leave the cable draped over the heating element
- do not install the heater near flammable or combustible objects
- disconnect it from the mains when not in use
- use only a damp, clean cloth for cleaning
