AutoPot Tray2Grow is a self-watering system that does not require electricity or a pump and offers five ways of use - growing in grow bags, pots, seed trays and microgreens, outdoors and indoors. It is suitable for beginners who want hassle-free watering, as well as for professionals who save time with it.
How Tray2Grow works
The basis is a robust tray with a channelled base that distributes irrigation, and perforated bases through which the plant draws water and nutrient solution from below upwards. The system therefore doses moisture according to how much the plant actually uses, and you only top up the reservoir. This is a principle that roots needing constant but not waterlogged moisture appreciate.
What the set consists of
- Tray2Grow system - a complete reservoir with a tray as the basis of the whole set.
- Tray&Lid and Seed Tray trays - a base for different growing methods and for pre-growing from seed.
- Irrigation spikes - capillary spikes for feeding grow bags, most often for tomatoes and peppers.
- Fabric seed tray and capillary mat - a foldable seed tray and mat for even distribution of moisture.
- Copper tape and Root Control Sheet - reinforcement of the set, protection against slugs and a barrier against root penetration.

Frequently asked questions
Does Tray2Grow need electricity?
No. The whole system works without electricity or pumps - irrigation runs by gravity and capillary uptake, so you also save on running costs.
What can I grow in it?
It offers five ways of use: grow bags, pots, seed trays, root vegetables and microgreens, both indoor and outdoor.
What is the copper tape and copper sheet for?
The copper tape reinforces the set and protects against slugs, while the copper Root Control Sheet prevents roots from growing into the capillary mat.
