1Pot pack - AQUAvalve5 accessory pack (9 mm)

Service fittings pack for one module of the 1Pot system. It contains the AQUAvalve5 valve and 9 mm distribution to replace a worn part or expand the system - it is not a complete module (without pot and tray).

Compatibility

The pack is designed for the 1Pot system with the AQUAvalve5 valve and 9 mm distribution. It is used to restore or supplement one module and to convert an older 6 mm system to AQUAvalve5: faster, 66% higher feed supply, lower maintenance requirements.

Mineral fertilisers - and why not organic with 1Pot

For best results, the manufacturer recommends mineral fertilisers for the 1Pot system - operation with them is the easiest and practically maintenance-free. Organic fertilisers are not recommended for the base 1Pot: they tend to settle and clog the narrow 9 mm distribution. (This is different from the larger 1Pot XL and XXL systems, where organic fertiliser is possible with a water pump in the tank.)

Upgrade from 6 mm

If you are converting an old system with a 47 l tank (6 mm) to AQUAvalve5, enlarge the existing holes to 12.5 mm; then connect the 9 mm irrigation via a 9 mm grommet and 9 mm golf filter. The same applies to old Tray systems and AQUAbox Straight and Spyder. 6 and 9 mm cannot be connected directly, only via a 16 mm backbone with a reducer.

What next

The pack belongs to the 1Pot system. You can add the pot as a replacement pot, the tray as a tray, and the roots are protected by PotSock. Individual fittings can be found among 9 mm parts and 16 mm.
