SANlight FLEX II 20W is a small, slim LED light for growers who need light where a large panel does not fit - in propagators, for young plants, for microgreens or between plant tiers as supplementary (inter)lighting. It stays cool thanks to passive cooling, and with IP68 protection you can hang it even close above a damp crop.

Power supply: requires GST power supply

The FLEX II 20W is powered via a separate GST power supply - the module does not plug directly into the mains. The smallest GST30 can run one FLEX II 20 light, the more powerful GST65 three, and the stronger 150 / 240 / 320 W power supplies up to 7 / 11 / 14 units. The lights are interconnected with WDC19 cabling.

Spectrum for roots and young plants

FLEX II has a broadband spectrum with an increased FarRed/Red ratio, which supports rooting of cuttings and growth in the first stage of plant life. It is therefore especially suitable for propagation, seedlings and illuminating the lower parts of larger plants.

Frequently asked questions

Does the FLEX II 20W need a separate power supply?

Yes. The standard FLEX II 20W is a module without an integrated power supply and is powered via a separate GST driver. GST30 can run one unit, GST65 three, and the 150 / 240 / 320 W power supplies 7, 11 and 14 FLEX II 20 lights respectively. The driver and WDC19 connecting cables are purchased separately.

Can I dim the FLEX II with a SANlight dimmer?

No. FLEX II is not compatible with the magnetic M-Dimmer or the SANlight Bluetooth Dimmer - these are designed for the EVO and STIXX series. The intensity of FLEX II can only be adjusted via the driver output, or via an external 0-10V signal on the driver, not via EVO-series dimmers.

What is the FLEX II 20W suitable for?

FLEX II 20W is ideal for cloning and propagation, for lighting houseplants, growing microgreens and as interlighting between tiers of larger plants. Thanks to its compact dimensions and low operating temperature, you can place it even in tight spaces where a large LED panel would not fit.
