SANlight FLEX II 240 W is a more powerful power supply for growers who are building a larger multi-tier FLEX II system and want to power it from one place. This version has a ready-made Wieland connector on the mains (AC) side, so it plugs straight into prepared wiring.

Incompatible:

• Splitters with WDC19 male (for small GST30/GST65 power supplies) - different output connector
• EVO/Q-Series and STIXX luminaires and wiring - different system (the Wieland connector on the power supply is only for connection to the mains, not for powering EVO luminaires)
• SANlight BT-Dimmer and M-Dimmer dimmers - FLEX II does not have a SANlight dimmer

With Wieland connector, or without connector?

We supply the 240 W power supply in two versions differing only on the mains side. The version with a Wieland connector has a ready-made end for quick plugging into the wiring. The version without AC connector has loose wires for fixed connection to the distribution. Both have the same power and WDC21 DC output.

How many luminaires does the FLEX II 240W power supply power?

240 W is enough for 22 FLEX II 10 luminaires, 11 FLEX II 20 units or 9 FLEX II 25 units of one type, with a minimum load of one FLEX II 10 luminaire. You connect the luminaires to it using a splitter cable with a WDC21 male and link them with WDC19 wiring.

What is the difference compared with the 150W and 320W power supplies?

Only in power, and therefore in the number of powered luminaires. The 150W power supply can handle 7 FLEX II 20 units, this 240W one can handle 11, and the most powerful 320W power supply can handle 14. Choose according to how many luminaires you want to power from one place; the WDC21 DC output and the connection system are the same on all three.

Can I dim the FLEX II through the 240W power supply?

No. FLEX II does not have any SANlight dimmer and the power supply has a fixed output. Regulation is only possible via a driver with support for external 0-10V control; otherwise the luminaires shine at full power.
