The SANlight FLEX II range consists of small, highly efficient LED luminaires designed for small indoor spaces and anywhere only a small area needs supplementary lighting. Thanks to passive cooling and high ingress protection, they can be hung close to plants and between tiers - suitable for cloning and propagation, the growth phase, growing seedlings and microgreens, or for illuminating the lower tiers of taller plants.
How to choose the output
FLEX II is available in three outputs, chosen according to the area and phase:
- FLEX II 10 W - the smallest module for spot supplementary lighting, propagation units and narrow shelves.
- FLEX II 20 W - a versatile medium output for seedlings and smaller growing areas.
- FLEX II 25 W - the most powerful module in the range for more continuous lighting of the growth phase and multi-tier systems.
Modular connection
The strength of FLEX II is that you can connect individual luminaires into one system according to the space. Power is supplied by separate power supplies from 30 W up to 320 W, together with splitter and extension cables. A smaller power supply (for example 30 W) can run one 25W luminaire, while a powerful 320W power supply can also power more than two dozen smaller modules connected via two-way and four-way Y-splitters. This means you can light up either a single shelf or an entire rack of microgreens with the same range.
Passive cooling and durability
FLEX II has no fan, so it operates completely silently and does not stir up dust. The high ingress protection of the cabling (IP65) and robust design allow installation even in damper environments and directly among plants, where a conventional luminaire would get in the way. The pleasant light spectrum also makes it suitable for living spaces.
Frequently asked questions
What is SANlight FLEX II best suited for?
For cloning and cuttings, pre-growing seedlings, microgreens and illuminating lower tiers. It is not the main flowering light for a full tent, but an accessory light for early stages and multi-tier growing.
Do I need a separate power supply for the module?
Yes. The luminaire itself connects to a separate SANlight power supply (30 to 320 W), which you choose according to the number and output of the modules. You can find the power supply and cabling in FLEX II accessories.
How many luminaires can I connect to one power supply?
It depends on the power supply and module output - a small 30W power supply can run one 25W luminaire, while a 320W power supply can power up to around thirty of the smallest 10W modules. Combinations are assembled via Y-splitters.
Can I use FLEX II in the living room?
Yes, thanks to its pleasant spectrum and quiet passive cooling, it is also suitable for living spaces, for example for herbs or ornamental plants.
