SANlight FLEX II 10W is the smallest and slimmest light in the entire FLEX II range - for growers who need light where a larger panel will not fit. With a length of 547 mm and a width of 33 mm, you can hang it above a propagator, for cuttings, above microgreens or between plant tiers as supplementary (inter)lighting. Passive cooling keeps it cool even during operation, and IP68 protection withstands moisture just above the crop.

Spectrum for roots and young plants

FLEX II has a broadband spectrum with an increased FarRed/Red ratio, which supports rooting of cuttings and growth in the first stage of plant life. That is why the smallest 10W light is mainly suitable for cloning, seedlings, growing microgreens and illuminating the lower parts of larger plants.

Power supply: requires a separate GST power supply

FLEX II 10 is a light without its own power supply - you cannot plug it directly into a socket. It is powered via a GST power supply from the FLEX II series. The smallest GST30 can handle three lights, the more powerful GST65 six; the lights are interconnected with WDC19 cabling.

How many FLEX II 10 lights can one power supply handle?

It depends on the power of the power supply. GST30 powers three FLEX II 10 units, GST65 six. More powerful power supplies can handle more: the 150W version 15 lights, the 240W version 22 and the most powerful 320W version up to 30 FLEX II 10 units. The power supply and WDC19 connecting cables are purchased separately for the light.

Can FLEX II 10W be dimmed?

Not with the magnetic M-Dimmer or Bluetooth Dimmer from SANlight - these are designed for the EVO and STIXX series and cannot be connected to the WDC19 connector. You regulate the intensity of FLEX II via the output of the driver used, or alternatively by an external 0-10V signal on a driver that supports such control.

How does FLEX II 10 differ from the 20W and 25W versions?

Only in size and light output, not in technology. The 10W is the shortest (547 mm) and most economical light in the series, with a flux of 25 µmol/s - ideal for propagation and narrow spaces. The 20W and 25W versions are longer and shine more, making them suitable for a larger area. All share the WDC19 connector, spectrum and IP68 protection.
