SANlight EVO

SANlight EVO lights stand out with an efficiency of up to 3µmol/J. During their development, the Austrian company SANlight focused mainly on developing a light spectrum that would best match plant needs. They succeeded in developing a light with a broad spectrum and a ratio of FIR (far infrared, distant infrared) and red radiation, which increases both the quantity and quality of the harvest. 

The individual diodes have optical lenses that increase light uniformity and increase its intensity (SANlight EVO lights have excellent PPFD, the density of emitted light suitable for photosynthesis). The asymmetrical lenses reduce losses and protect the electronics against moisture, which is often necessary in a grow room or greenhouse. The lenses also increase light quality and protect it against corrosion. 

The developers at SANlight paid close attention to the choice of diodes; the lights feature quality electronics from OSRAM and WICOP. Everything is passively cooled, so the light is completely silent and without a fan.

The light is easy to hang and direct exactly as you need. 

The lights can be dimmed with classic controllers used in grow rooms. You can also use a magnetic or Bluetooth dimmer.

All connectors on the lights are moisture-resistant so they can withstand greenhouses with RH up to 99% without any problem. The service life of the lights can reach up to 90,000 hours of lighting.

Yes, the EVO spectrum is designed as full-spectrum for the vegetative and flowering stages, so one light takes plants through the entire cycle without the need to change the light between stages.

How do I choose the right model according to the area?

The decisive factors are the covered area and the required power input. Smaller EVO models cover a smaller footprint, while more powerful units cover full-sized tents. For dimming and matching the output to the given area, use the magnetic or Bluetooth dimmer.

Can multiple EVO lights be connected and dimmed together?

Yes, the lights can be operated as a group and controlled together with a dimmer, which is useful for larger areas where you need even lighting from multiple units at once.

Is it worth switching from a discharge lamp to SANlight EVO?
