Detailed information

Product detailed description

Higher intensity on 80x80 cm

SANlight EVO 4-80 is the main LED light of the EVO 1.5 series in the mid-power class of 265 W - one light is designed for an 80x80 cm area with high intensity. It delivers 725 µmol/s of photon flux and SANlight states a module efficiency of over 3 µmol/J for the EVO series. IP65 protection means resistance to dust and splashing water. It is fitted with red and far-red OSRAM LED chips and white Seoul Semiconductor diodes with WICOP technology.

Compatibility

Compatible:

Incompatible:

  • EVO Compact 400 V cabling - connector N50243 is for the 400V version of Compact, it does NOT fit these lights
  • STIXX (M19 5-PIN system) - different connector
  • FLEX II (WDC19/WDC21 system) - different connector

Higher intensity on 80x80 cm

EVO 4-80 (265 W, 725 µmol/s) is designed for an 80x80 cm tent - it has the same 643 mm body as the efficient 3-80, but delivers more photons, and therefore higher intensity for more demanding crops and the flowering stage. If you need the same output in a longer space, continue to EVO 4-120.

You need a power cable to get it running

The package does not include a power cable - you choose it according to your installation. Use a straight power cable, or the angled variant when routing the supply close to the body. Both have a Wieland RST20i3 connector for EVO 1.5 and Q-Series Gen2 (an overview of matching and non-matching systems is in the Compatibility section).

Dimming with a magnetic dimmer

You dim the light via a separate blue connector. The easiest option is the magnetic M-Dimmer, which you simply attach; an alternative is the Bluetooth Dimmer controlled from your phone. If you want to connect the light to a control system, use an external 0-10V controller via an adapter. The power and dimming sockets are separate.

Frequently asked questions

Does the cabling from EVO 4-80 also fit STIXX, FLEX II or EVO Compact?

No. EVO 4-80 uses the Wieland RST20i3 power connector, common to the entire EVO 1.5 and Q-Series Gen2 range. It does not fit EVO Compact in the 400 V version (that one has connector N50243) or the STIXX (M19) and FLEX II (WDC) ranges - they have their own cabling. When buying a cable, stick to the EVO/Q-Series variant.

Is a power cable included with the EVO 4-80 light?

No. SANlight deliberately supplies the EVO 4-80 without a power cable so that you can choose the variant according to your installation. To get it running, you need one power cable with a Wieland RST20i3 connector - straight, or angled when routing the supply close to the body. Both are available separately from us and installation takes a few minutes.

How is the EVO 4-80 dimmed?

The light has a separate blue dimming connector. You connect the magnetic M-Dimmer or SANlight Bluetooth Dimmer to it, which you control via an app on your phone. Alternatively, you can regulate the EVO 4-80 with an external 0-10V controller via an adapter cable. The power and dimming connectors are two separate sockets.
