Product detailed description
Power supply for a full STIXX 4-100 tent
SANlight Driver Set STIXX 4, 400W is a Smart Driver for the STIXX 4-100 range with space for three luminaires at full power. A trio of 4-100 luminaires lights a large tent evenly, which is why this version is popular as the heart of one complete grow room. It powers the STIXX 4 range exclusively.
The driver arrives without luminaires or cabling. To operate, it requires STIXX 4-100 luminaires, which are purchased separately and do not light up without the driver.
Parameters

- Rated input power of one luminaire: 94 W
- Max. output current: 5.2 A
- Typical output voltage: 77 V DC
- Dimensions (L x W x H): 281 x 90 x 41.5 mm
- Weight: 1.98 kg
- Input voltage: 120-240/277 V AC, 50/60 Hz
- Dimming: blue connector on the driver (M-Dimmer, Bluetooth Dimmer or 0-10V)
- Unused DC ports: termination cap (mandatory)
- Water resistance: M19 connector on the luminaire IP68; the driver mains plug is not water-resistant
Compatibility
Compatible:
- SANlight STIXX 4-100 and Undercanopy STIXX 4-100 luminaires - three luminaires at full power
- SANlight termination cap (AI5010) for unused DC ports on the driver
- SANlight M-Dimmer and Bluetooth Dimmer dimmers, or a 0-10V signal (blue connector on the driver)
- extension cables and M19 (5 PIN) splitters from STIXX accessories for connecting more luminaires
Incompatible:
- other STIXX ranges (2-60, 3-80, 5-120 and 6-150) - the driver is intended only for its own range
- mixing different STIXX models on one driver - identical luminaires are required
- STIXX 50 - a closed system with its own power supply, different cabling
- EVO and FLEX II luminaires - different connector and power supply
When to choose the 400W version
According to the official SANlight table, the 400W driver powers three STIXX 4-100 luminaires at full power. If you plan to use only two luminaires, the smaller 215W driver is sufficient; for more than three luminaires at full power, the 910W version is intended (five luminaires). The stronger 610W driver powers the same three luminaires, but with a larger current reserve. The Smart Driver can also handle fewer luminaires, so you can build the set up gradually.
Dimming on the driver and port termination
Light dimming is handled by the driver: connect the SANlight Bluetooth Dimmer or M-Dimmer to the blue connector, or use a 0-10V signal, and the brightness changes across all luminaires at the same time. Unused driver ports must be closed with a termination cap - without it, the system may be damaged.
Protection and installation
The luminaire has IP68 protection on the M19 connector, the driver mains plug is not water-resistant and its connection should be kept away from moisture. Do not stack drivers on top of each other and leave at least 10 mm between them.
Frequently asked questions
How many STIXX 4-100 luminaires does the 400W driver power?
At full rated power, it powers three STIXX 4-100 luminaires (3x 94 W = 282 W) - this number is given in the official SANlight table. You can connect a fourth luminaire, but then all of them will switch to reduced power. For full light, count on three luminaires.
What happens if I do not fill all the driver ports?
Nothing, you do not have to fill them immediately. The Smart Driver recognises how many STIXX 4-100 luminaires are connected, and unused ports are not a problem - just close them with a termination cap. Up to the full number of luminaires, each one shines at full power; the driver recognises adding or disconnecting a luminaire by itself.
What is the termination cap for and do I need it?
Yes, it is mandatory. The driver has more DC ports than the number of luminaires you usually connect, and every unused port must be closed with a termination cap (AI5010). Without it, the system may be damaged. It is an inexpensive but essential part - the manufacturer does not supply the cap together with the luminaires or the driver, it is purchased separately.
