In NFT (Nutrient Film Technique), a thin film of nutrient solution flows along the bottom of the growing tray, on which a strip of non-woven fabric lies - it distributes the solution evenly to the roots and prevents them from being flooded. Fabric from Nutriculture and PLANT!T is sold in rolls of various lengths (e.g. 3, 15, 25 or 30 m) with a width of 20 or 40 cm, so it can be cut exactly to fit your tray. The same type of fabric can also be used in Ebb&Flow systems.
The heart of the circulation is the micro pump - smaller outputs (320 l/h) for compact Gro Tank 205 trays, more powerful ones (450 to 1000 l/h) for larger Gro Tank 604 or Multi-duct systems. They are complemented by replacement top tray covers in white, black or silver versions, drain hoses for emptying and cleaning the tank, and siphon valves for Ebb&Flow systems.
These parts are suitable both for replacing worn fabric after a season and for expanding the system with another growing tray.
