The square NFT Gro Tank hydroponic system with dimensions 120 x 106.5 x 21.5 cm is designed for efficient plant cultivation per square metre. The highly successful Gro Tank irrigation system ensures a continuous transport of nutrients to the roots. The pump is constantly in operation and pumps the nutrient solution from the tank into the channel. From there, the solution slowly flows along the roots and the plant can take up the nutrients it needs at that moment. The remainder of the irrigation solution that the plant does not use immediately returns to the tank and the whole process repeats.

The recirculating NFT Gro Tank 100 irrigation system from the British Nutriculture consists of a tank, tray, non-woven fabric, top tray, pump and distribution system. The package includes complete instructions in Czech.

What is NFT?

The unique NFT (Nutrient Film Téchnique) method is based on the requirement to supply plants through their roots with nutrients and oxygen whenever they need them. The main advantage of the NFT irrigation technique lies in the fact that the nutrient solution is constantly present in a thin layer around the plant roots. The constantly circulating nutrient film, together with the continuous intake of oxygen, guarantees the optimal development of the root system and the whole plant. More than 40 years of experience confirm that cultivation with NFT irrigation systems can be up to 4x more successful than growing in soil or substrate. Only well-rooted plants should be placed in the system. Rockwool cubes are suitable.

Protect the roots from light, and remember to regularly check the EC values of the irrigation solution. Bear in mind that larger plants will need support to grow straight.

Unfortunately, in this size the product cannot be sent by standard parcel service, as it exceeds the carrier's limits; moreover, it is fragile and could be damaged during transport. The goods are available only for personal collection at our collection point!
