The largest NFT Gro Tank recirculation system with dimensions 185.5 x 100 x 15 cm is designed for efficient cultivation of up to 25 plants. The highly successful Gro Tank irrigation system ensures continuous transport of nutrients to the roots. The pump is constantly running and pumps the nutrient solution from the tank into the trough. From there, the solution flows slowly down the roots and the plant can take the nutrients it needs. The rest of the nutrient solution, which is not immediately consumed by the plant, is returned to the tank and the process repeats.

What is NFT?

The unique NFT (Nutrient Film Téchnique) method is based on the requirement to supply nutrients and oxygen to the plants through the roots whenever they need them. The main advantage of the NFT irrigation technique is that the nutrient solution is always present in a thin layer around the roots of the plant. The constantly circulating nutrient film, together with the constant intake of oxygen, guarantees optimal development of the root system and the entire plant. More than 40 years of experience have confirmed that growing with NFT irrigation systems can be up to 4 times more successful than growing in soil or substrate.

Only place well-rooted plants in the system. Rockwool cubes are suitable. Protect the roots from light, remember to check the EC values of the watering regularly. Allow for the fact that larger plants will need support to grow straight.
