The proven NFT Gro Tank hydroponic system with dimensions of 152.5 x 48.5 x 19 cm is designed for efficient cultivation of up to 8 plants. The highly successful Gro Tank irrigation system ensures continuous transport of nutrients to the roots. The pump is constantly in operation and pumps the nutrient solution from the tank into the channel. From there, the solution slowly flows over the roots and the plant can take up the nutrients it needs at that moment. The remainder of the irrigation solution that the plant does not use immediately returns to the tank and the whole process repeats.

What is NFT?

The unique NFT (Nutrient Film Téchnique) method is based on the requirement to supply plants with nutrients and oxygen through the roots whenever they need them. The main advantage of NFT irrigation technology lies in the fact that the nutrient solution is constantly present in a thin layer around the plant roots. The constantly circulating nutrient film, together with the constant intake of oxygen, guarantees the optimal development of the root system and the whole plant. More than 40 years of experience confirm that growing with NFT irrigation systems can be up to 4x more successful than growing in soil or substrate.

Only well-rooted plants should be placed in the system. Rockwool cubes are suitable. Protect the roots from light, and do not forget to regularly check the EC values of the irrigation solution. Bear in mind that larger plants will need support so that they grow straight.

Unfortunately, this size of product cannot be sent by standard parcel service, as it exceeds the carrier's limits; moreover, it is fragile and could be damaged during transport. The goods are available for personal collection only at our collection point!
