The complete NFT Gro Tank hydroponic system is designed for efficient cultivation of approx. 3 plants in inert substrates. It is compatible with most hydroponic fertilisers in our range. Thanks to its dimensions of 69.5x29.5x19.5 cm, it fits comfortably into smaller Homebox, Probox, Secret Jardin etc. grow tents with a base of 80x80 cm. Or would you fit two in there straight away?

NFT stands for „Nutrient Film Technique“ (Technique of the nutrient film).

A thin film of nutrient solution flows past the roots of your plants and provides them with all the elements they need.
The only substrate used is the one that helps plant growth; this is the „bare-root“ technique.
In the Nutriculture NFT system, the nutrient solution is kept in a reservoir.
Your plants rest on a tray or „channel“ above the reservoir and the nutrient solution is pumped up into the „channel“ and flows over the roots of your plants.
Unused nutrient solution returns back to the reservoir, from where it is pumped again to the roots.
A constant supply of water and nutrients to the roots together with an unlimited supply of oxygen means that you can expect up to 4x higher yields compared with traditional soil growing.
