Product detailed description

Tap water in many regions naturally has a higher pH than plants need, and without adjustment they may not take up nutrients fully, even if the fertiliser contains everything they need. Hesi pH- is used to correct this.

For safety reasons, this product (acid/alkali) cannot be sent by any courier service or to collection points. It can only be ordered for personal collection from our shop. Thank you for your understanding.

Why lower pH

When the pH of the nutrient solution is too high, many minerals become less available to the roots and the plant may show signs of nutrient deficiency, even though the fertiliser is being dosed correctly. The ideal pH range is 5.8 - 6.2, especially in hydroponic systems and coco substrates, where the substrate does not balance the pH on its own.

How to dose Hesi pH-

This is a concentrated product - add it to the watering solution gradually, in small doses (a few drops), mix the solution thoroughly and only then measure the pH with a pH metre. If necessary, add another small amount and repeat the process. Always measure pH only after adding fertilisers.

Safety when handling

Hesi pH- contains phosphoric acid, so it is a corrosive substance. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and use protective equipment when handling it. Store in the original sealed container, out of reach of children and pets.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know that I need to lower the pH?
If, after mixing the fertiliser with water, you measure a value above 6.2 with a pH metre, add a small amount of Hesi pH- and measure again after stirring.

How much Hesi pH- should I add at once?
Start with just a few drops for the given volume of water, stir and measure - only then, depending on the result, add another small amount if needed.

Why can't I have the product delivered to my home?
It is a concentrated acid, so for safety reasons it cannot be transported by courier service or to collection points - it is available only for personal collection.
