Coco on its own will not nourish the plant - HESI Coco provides complete nutrition, plus calcium and magnesium, which are missing in coco. It is a one-component fertiliser for both growth and flowering, so in coco you only need one bottle.

Why a special fertiliser for coco

Coco on its own contains no nutrients and binds some minerals, which the composition of Hesi Coco takes into account. The nutrient ratio is N-P-K 3-4-5 and the fertiliser also contains added calcium and magnesium, which are often deficient in coco.

Dosing and pH

Use 50 ml per 10 l with every watering. Unlike Bloom Complex (soil, built-in pH corrector), with coco it is necessary to monitor pH: ideally 5.8-6.2, adjust using pH+ or pH-. For the best condition, combine with the booster Hesi SuperVit, and towards the end of flowering add Hesi PK 13/14.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a growth fertiliser with Hesi Coco as well?

Not necessarily - Hesi Coco covers both growth and flowering in one bottle. In coco, it can be supplemented during growth with TNT Complex, but that is not a requirement.

Do I have to adjust pH?

Yes. In coco, after adding the fertiliser, check the pH and adjust it to 5.8-6.2.

Why does Coco have more calcium and magnesium?

Coco medium binds calcium and magnesium, which is why Hesi Coco is enriched with these elements.
