Detailed information

Product detailed description

Dehydrated coconut substrate compressed into a board, U Gro XL, is an excellent medium for growing annual and seasonal herbs in indoor and outdoor conditions. It is made from coconut husks and contains fine particles of high-quality coconut peat with a low fibre content. It includes trichoderma harzianum, which protects roots against rot and stimulates overall growth.

The greatest advantage of all organic U Gro products is their excellent water and air retention properties.

The coconut substrate is optimally airy and manages water excellently, which is reflected not only in a high-quality and healthy root system. Herbs will grow faster. Another advantage is its low weight. It is easy to work with.

Organic U Gro XL maintains a stable pH 5.5-6.5, and low EC less than 0.6 mS/cm. Its excellent water retention capacity is 91%, so it does not require frequent watering. The package weighs 5 kg in dry state and after adding 18 litres of water you will obtain 70 litres of quality substrate from the dehydrated material. U Gro XL is recommended mainly for growing annual plants.

The large pressed and dehydrated coconut substrate U Gro XL is buffered and twice rinsed with desalinated water.

pH value: 5.5 - 6.5.
EC value (1:1.5): <0.6 mS/cm.
