Plagron Lightmix is a high-quality mix containing the finest types of peat. This pre-fertilised substrate consists of white peat, black peat, fibrous peat, perlite and mineral NPK fertilisers. The perlite improves the structure, increasing aeration, lightness and oxygenation.

Pre-fertilisation and when to start fertilising

The nutrients in the substrate provide plants with sufficient nutrition for the first week of the cycle; after that, additional fertilising is necessary according to the plants’ needs. The low EC values support faster root growth, making Lightmix suitable for growers who want to maintain full control over the entire growing cycle.

Recommended fertilisers

Lightmix provides the best results when combined with the 100% Terra liquid nutrient range: Power Roots during the rooting phase, Terra Grow during the growth phase and Terra Bloom after the transition to flowering. An enzymatic product, Pure Zym, can be added throughout the cycle.
