UGro RHIZA XL is a block (5 kg) of compressed and dehydrated coconut coir with a low fibre content, enriched with endomycorrhizae (5%). It is a special ectomycorrhizal fungus that creates a so-called hyphal mantle around the root, increasing the absorptive area of the root system. With 18 L of water, the substrate expands to a volume of up to 70 L of high-quality coconut medium.

Coco substrate is obtained by crushing and processing coconut husks and can be used as an alternative to more traditional substrates. The substrate has excellent aeration and water-retention properties. These properties support the root system, allowing the plant to grow much faster. It is a biodegradable organic component containing the natural fungus trichoderma, a microorganism that protects plant roots from rot and stimulates the growth of your plants.

UGro Rhiza XL offers roots better water and nutrient uptake, saving you up to 50% of water and fertiliser. Your plants will better withstand stress, diseases and pests. It is convenient, lightweight and easy to carry. Suitable for all types of growing, both outdoors and indoors.

Coconut substrate is optimally aerated and manages water excellently, which is reflected not only in a high-quality and healthy root system. Herbs will grow faster. Its low weight is another advantage. It is easy to work with.

The 70-litre UGro Rhiza X coconut coir is enhanced with the beneficial fungus trichoderma harzianum. Endomycorrhizae are fungi that, through perfect symbiosis with roots, increase their volume and capacity to absorb nutrients and water. At the same time, they improve the plants’ natural resistance to pests, moulds and diseases.

Organic UGro Rhiza XL maintains a stable pH of 5.5-6.5 and a low EC of less than 0.6 mS/cm. Its excellent water-retention capacity is 91%, so it does not require frequent watering. The packaging weighs 5 kg grams when dry, and after adding 18 litres of water, you obtain up to 70 litres of high-quality substrate from the dehydrated material. UGro XL is recommended mainly for growing annual plants.

Large compressed and dehydrated UGro XL coconut substrate is buffered and rinsed twice with desalinated water.
