Advanced Hydroponics Starter Kit
Code: AH-STARTRelated products
Product detailed description
Advanced Hydroponics Starter Kit is a starter nutrition set that covers the entire growing cycle of 2 to 3 plants - from the first rooting to the final flush. Seven bottles: a basic three-part nutrient and four supplements that follow on from one another. For a first-time grower, it is the quickest way to have nutrition sorted; for an experienced grower, it saves thinking about what else to buy.
What is in the kit and what it is for
- Dutch Formula 1 Grow, 0.5 l - the growth component of the basic nutrient, in solution it has the largest share in the growth phase
- Dutch Formula 2 Bloom, 0.5 l - nutrients for flowering and fruit formation, the core of the flowering phase, with the highest dose at the end of flowering
- Dutch Formula 3 Micro, 0.5 l - chelated micronutrients with pH buffers, used in both growth and flowering until the start of the final flush
- Natural Power Root Stimulator, 0.25 l - root stimulator for the first three weeks, when the root ball is being established
- Natural Power Enzymes+, 0.25 l - activates beneficial microorganisms in the medium, breaks down accumulated salts and dead roots, applied continuously
- Natural Power Growth/Bloom Excellarator, 0.25 l - supports the formation of green mass and flowers, added from the fourth week
- Natural Power Final Solution, 0.25 l - flush for the last two weeks before harvest
Why it is worth choosing the kit instead of individual bottles
The value is not in the number of bottles, but in the fact that they fit together: seven bottles cover the basic nutrient and four supplements from rooting to the final flush. Root Stimulator runs for the first three weeks, the trio Grow, Bloom and Micro provides the basic nutrient, Enzymes+ works continuously, Excellarator is added from the fourth week and Final Solution closes the last two. So you do not have to find out halfway through the cycle that something is missing and source it at the last minute.
The volumes are calculated for 2 to 3 plants for the entire cycle. Bloom and Enzymes+ run out the fastest: when you add up their weekly doses from the official table and compare them with the bottle volume, they are the first two to run out from all seven, and at the same time. When you restock the kit, these are the first two bottles you will reach for. The point here is not to buy a lot of fertiliser, but not to buy the wrong thing seven times.
Who the kit is for
The kit is suitable for all substrates - soil, coco, rockwool and hydroponics - so you do not have to decide in advance what you will grow in, or change the nutrient when you try something different next time. If you are still deciding what to buy to get started, this is the answer in one package: basic nutrient and four supplements for the whole cycle, in the right ratios and without putting together a list.

Frequently asked questions
How many plants is the kit enough for?
It is calculated for 2 to 3 plants for the entire growing cycle, i.e. for a typical small tent. Actual usage depends on how much feed you mix per week - the doses in the official table are given in millilitres per litre of solution. Bloom and Enzymes+ run out first; for a larger grow room, go straight for the individual bottles in larger volumes.
What is not in the kit?
The kit covers the basic nutrient and four supplements, not the entire range of the line. It does not include Advanced CalMag, which you need with osmosis, rain or soft water and under LED, as well as Silica, Amino and the flowering additives PK and Flowering Boost. You also need to adjust the pH to 5.8 to 6.2 separately; without a pH metre you will not get it right.
Do I have to follow the exact dosing from the table?
The table is a starting point, not dogma. The doses in it are calculated for an inert substrate and source water with conductivity around 0.5 mS; in soil, use half doses and with your own water keep an eye on the conductivity of the solution. If you are not sure, start lower and add in small steps - an overfed plant takes longer to correct than an underfed one.
You can find the exact dosing for the individual ranges in the Advanced Hydroponics dosing table.
