SANlight Driver Set STIXX 5, 910W is the top model in the STIXX power supply range - a Smart Driver that powers up to four of the most powerful STIXX 5-120 fixtures from one place. It is aimed at large professional installations, where central distribution and shared dimming across the whole area make more sense than a series of smaller drivers. It powers the STIXX 5 series exclusively.

The power supply comes separately, without fixtures or cables. To light up, it needs STIXX 5-120 fixtures - these are purchased separately and will not produce light without the driver.

The most powerful power supply for STIXX 5-120

The driver powers four 5-120 fixtures (4x 117 W = 468 W) at full power according to the official SANlight table - this is the maximum you can get from a single power supply in the STIXX ecosystem. Beyond that, the area can only be expanded by adding another driver. However, you do not have to fill it straight away: the Smart Driver delivers full power even to a smaller number of fixtures, and you can close the remaining ports with a cap for now.

Cap and dimming

Unused DC ports on the driver must be fitted with a termination cap - without it, there is a risk of damage to the system, so treat it as a mandatory part of every setup. Dimming is done directly on the driver: connect the magnetic M-Dimmer or Bluetooth Dimmer from SANlight to its blue connector, or a 0-10V control signal. All fixtures then dim together.

Protection and installation

The fixture has IP68 protection on the M19 connector, the driver's mains plug is not water-resistant and its connection should be kept away from moisture. Do not stack drivers on top of each other and leave at least 10 mm between them.

A fifth fixture will only light dimly, because the power is shared between all of them. If you want a larger area, add a second driver, not more fixtures to this one.

Can I connect different STIXX models to one driver?

No. Only identical fixtures from the same STIXX series may be connected to one driver - for example STIXX 5-120 with STIXX 5-120. The manufacturer prohibits combinations such as STIXX 2-60 and STIXX 3-80 on a shared driver. For more fixtures of the same model, use extension cables and M19 splitters, and fit unused ports with a termination cap.

Can I start with one fixture and add more gradually?

Yes, no problem. The driver also works with a single fixture: Smart Driver Technology detects the number of connected STIXX 5-120 fixtures and distributes the power between them automatically. Up to the full number of fixtures, each one lights at full power; above that, the power is spread out and the fixtures run more dimly. This lets you start with a small setup and grow to the recommended number.
