Detailed information

Product detailed description

Powerful driver for three 5-120 lights

SANlight Driver Set STIXX 5, 610W is a powerful Smart Driver for the STIXX 5-120 range. From one power supply it can run three of the most powerful STIXX lights at full power - you can build a large, intensely lit tent or several rows above each other without a network of smaller drivers. It powers only the STIXX 5 range.

The driver is supplied separately, without lights or cabling. It is fitted with STIXX 5-120 lights, which do not light up on their own.

Parameters

  • Type: power driver (Smart Driver) for the STIXX range
  • Maximum output power: 610 W
  • Designed for: STIXX 5-120 lights (same range only)
  • At full power (official SANlight table): three lights (3x 117 W = 351 W)
  • Rated input power of one light: 117 W
  • Max. output current: 6.4 A
  • Typical output voltage: 76 V DC
  • Dimensions (L x W x H): 391 x 90 x 41.5 mm
  • Weight: 2.82 kg
  • Input voltage: 120-240/277 V AC, 50/60 Hz
  • Dimming: blue connector on the driver (M-Dimmer, Bluetooth Dimmer or 0-10V)
  • Unused DC ports: termination cap (mandatory)

Compatibility

Compatible:

Incompatible:

  • other STIXX ranges (2-60, 3-80, 4-100 and 6-150) - the driver is intended only for its own range
  • mixing different STIXX models on one driver - identical lights are required
  • STIXX 50 - a closed system with its own power supply, different cabling
  • EVO and FLEX II lights - different connector and power supply

Central power supply and reserve

The driver powers three STIXX 5-120 lights (3x 117 W = 351 W) at full power according to the official SANlight table. One powerful driver means shared dimming and simpler distribution across the whole area. Smart Driver Technology allows you to fill the ports gradually - you can start with some of the lights and add more over time; above three lights, the lights run at reduced power. For four lights at full power, there is a 910W version.

Dimming on the driver and port termination

The driver handles light dimming: connect the SANlight Bluetooth Dimmer or M-Dimmer, or a 0-10V signal, to the blue connector and the brightness changes on all lights at the same time. Unused driver ports must be closed with a termination cap - without it, there is a risk of damage to the system.

Water resistance and installation

Only the M19 connector on the light is water-resistant (IP68); keep the driver's mains plug dry. When using more drivers, maintain a minimum distance of 10 mm between them and do not stack them on top of each other.

Frequently asked questions

How many STIXX 5-120 lights can the 610W driver run?

At full rated power, it can run three STIXX 5-120 lights (3x 117 W = 351 W) - according to the official SANlight table. You can connect more than three lights, but the power will be shared and the lights will run at reduced brightness. For four lights at full power, choose the 910W version.

Do all lights on the driver have to be the same?

Yes, they do. Only identical lights from one range belong on a shared driver - STIXX 5-120 therefore only with another STIXX 5-120. You must not connect two different STIXX models to one power supply, as each range has a different input power. If you are expanding with another model, buy its own driver; identical lights can be connected with extension cables and M19 splitters.

Will the driver also work with fewer lights than the maximum?

Yes. The Smart Driver automatically detects how many lights are connected and adjusts the power accordingly. Up to the full number of lights, each STIXX 5-120 light runs at full power; you can therefore start with one and add more later. Fit unused DC ports with a termination cap.
