Driver STIXX 4 with 8 A current

SANlight Driver Set STIXX 4, 610W is a powerful Smart Driver for the STIXX 4-100 range. According to the official SANlight table, it can run three STIXX 4-100 luminaires at full power - the same as the 400W version, but with a higher output current (8 A) and greater reserve for a longer chain and later adding luminaires. It powers only the STIXX 4 range.

The driver is sold separately, without luminaires or cables. It is fitted with STIXX 4-100 luminaires, which do not light up on their own.

Reserve and central distribution

The driver powers three STIXX 4-100 luminaires at full power according to the official SANlight table - the same number as the 400W version, but with an 8 A output current and greater reserve. The advantage is common dimming and simpler distribution across the whole area. You can also connect additional luminaires to the trio, which then run at reduced power. If you want five luminaires at full power, choose the 910W version.

Termination plug and dimming

Unused DC ports of the driver must be fitted with a termination plug - without it there is a risk of damage to the system, so treat it as a required part of every setup. Dimming is done directly on the driver: connect the magnetic M-Dimmer or Bluetooth Dimmer SANlight to its blue connector, or a 0-10V control signal. The luminaires then dim together.

Water resistance

While the M19 connector on the luminaire withstands moisture (IP68), the driver mains plug does not - protect it from water. Do not stack multiple drivers on top of each other and leave at least 10 mm between them.

The driver has a high output current of 8 A, so there is still reserve even above three luminaires; however, additional luminaires then run at reduced power. For five luminaires at full power, there is a 910W version.

Can I connect different STIXX models to one driver?

No. Only identical luminaires from the same STIXX range may be connected to one driver - for example STIXX 4-100 with STIXX 4-100. The manufacturer does not allow a combination such as STIXX 2-60 and STIXX 3-80 on a shared driver. For more luminaires of the same model, use M19 extension cables and splitters, and fit unused ports with a termination plug.

Will the driver run with fewer luminaires than the maximum?

Yes. The Smart Driver automatically recognises how many luminaires are connected and adjusts the power accordingly. Up to the full number of luminaires, each STIXX 4-100 luminaire runs at full power; you can therefore start with one and add more over time. Fit unused DC ports with a termination plug.
