CFL Energy-Saving Lamps EnviroGro
CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lamp) - in Czech compact fluorescent lamps are used as a secondary lighting source for indoor growing. They are available with a growth as well as a flowering or combined spectrum. Their main use is for lighting a smaller number of herbs in small grow boxes or propagators. The advantage is that the energy-saving lamps can be hung very close to the plants, just 30 cm is enough. We offer lamps from well-known brands such as Spectromaster, EnviroGro and others.
We will be happy to help you choose lighting for your plants. Just contact us at info@higarden.cz, or quickly via chat.
In this section you will find energy-saving lamps, which are especially useful in a smaller grow box as a lighting source for young plants and during propagation. They are easy to connect to the mains; unlike other types of discharge lamps, they have a built-in ballast, so you only need either a cable or a shade.

The different shades emitted by luminaires are described by colour temperature, given in Kelvin (K). The higher the colour temperature, the greater the proportion of blue light; a lower colour temperature means light that we perceive as redder and "warmer".
Recommended colour temperature:
- for the flowering phase: up to 3000 K
- for growth: 6000-7000 K
- super growth variant for cuttings: above 10 000 K
- For seedlings even higher values are suitable: 14 000 K
A suitable shade ensures even distribution of light radiation.
Energy-saving fluorescent lamps are a solution with a lower initial investment, but they cannot match the efficiency of LED lighting. If you want to really spoil your plants, we recommend supplementing them with LED lighting, such as compact TLED.
