Why is this fungus so sought after among growers, and why does applying products whose composition contains Trichoderma almost always bring excellent results?

• Fungi of the Trichoderma genus (hereinafter referred to as Trichoderma) form symbiotic relationships with plant roots.
• Trichoderma creates its own colonies in the plant’s root system, which protect the root ball against pathogen attacks, whether these are various moulds or bacteria.
• Unlike animals, plants do not have the ability to create classic antibodies against harmful pathogens, but when attacked they produce specific molecules (proteins, phytoalexins, etc.) with fungicidal and antibacterial properties.
