Refillable filter for the most common 150 mm size

AC-RCF6 is a refillable version of a carbon filter for duct ventilation with a diameter of 150 mm (6") - one of the most widely used sizes in grow ventilation systems. The patented design allows the filter to be refilled repeatedly with new activated carbon instead of buying a new filter.

How to refill the carbon

Open the filter by twisting the aluminium flange (twist-off, no tools) - the flange is also reversible. Pour in the new carbon using the included funnel and scoop, and the rubber seal ensures a tight connection.

Mesh material and carbon fill

The carbon is held in place by a double-layer galvanised steel mesh with a sandblasted gunmetal finish, resistant to corrosion. The carbon used is Australian virgin carbon RC412 with 1200+ IAV quality in a 38 mm thick layer.

Capacity of two filters in one pack

The pack contains an empty refillable filter body and 1+ replacement activated carbon refill - together, the capacity is roughly equivalent to two standard 6" filters.

Can I use the filter on ducting of a different diameter?
No. The filter is designed for 150 mm/6" systems - the filter, ducting and fan need to match the same diameter.

What max. airflow can the RCF6 handle?
410 CFM (696.7 m3/h) - the same as the standard non-refillable DCF6 filter of the same diameter.

What is included in the pack besides the filter?
1+ replacement activated carbon refill (together, capacity of approx. two standard 6" filters), funnel and scoop for filling.

How can I protect the filter from clogging with dust more quickly?
The Pre-Filter Cloth 6" can be fitted over the filter, capturing dust and dirt and thus protecting the activated carbon.
