Standard choice for 150 mm ventilation

AC Infinity DCF6 is an inline carbon filter with a 150 mm flange diameter – the most common size in the AC Infinity range for medium-sized grow tents and hydroponic rooms. It captures odours and chemicals from extracted air and works in both intake and extract configurations.

Premium Australian charcoal

The filter media consists of Virgin Australian activated charcoal (Virgin Australian RC412) with a rating of 1200+ IAV, in a 38 mm layer. The maximum air flow rate is 410 CFM (697 m3/h).

Materials and finish

The flange is made of aluminium and is reversible – reversing the filter allows you to use the entire charcoal media. The grille is made of corrosion-resistant galvanised steel, with a gunmetal finish (dark grey).

Choose the right fan and accessories (150 mm)

Pair the DCF6 filter with a fan and ducting of the same diameter, 150 mm. Charcoal in the ducting creates resistance and reduces the actual flow rate of the system – therefore, choose a fan with reserve capacity; the filter should only be paired with one of the same diameter:

• AC Infinity CLOUDLINE A6 – basic quiet fan with a wired speed controller.
• AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S6 – more powerful fan with a 10-speed controller.
• AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6 – fan supplied with a VPD Controller 69 Pro.
• Flexible four-layer ducting 150 mm – connects the filter to the fan.

Which fan is the DCF6 filter suitable for?
It has a 150 mm flange and is suitable for CLOUDLINE A6, S6 and T6 fans of the same diameter.

Must the filter have the same or higher flow rate than the fan?
Do not assess this based on the filter rating. 150 mm CLOUDLINE fans have a stated maximum flow rate of 352–402 CFM (approximately 598–683 m3/h), while the DCF6 is rated at 410 CFM (697 m3/h). The filter also reduces the actual system flow rate due to charcoal resistance, so choose a fan with reserve capacity above the grow tent’s requirements.

Is there a more powerful variant of the same diameter?
Yes, the extended DCF6-XL version has the same 150 mm flange, but a longer charcoal bed and a higher maximum flow rate of 520 CFM (884 m3/h).
