Pre-filter for the most common size - DCF6 and RCF6 (150 mm)

AC-PFC6 is a pre-filter textile sleeve for carbon filters with a diameter of 150 mm (6") - the most commonly used size in grow ventilation systems, whether it is the standard DCF6 or the refillable RCF6.

Dimensions and design

The sleeve is made of breathable polyester with 100% airflow permeability, material thickness 1.5 mm (0.05"), overall dimensions 22.6 x 35.0 cm. The design is precisely shaped (pre-cut) for 6" filters, colour black.

How the textile protects the carbon fill

The textile is slipped over the filter and catches dust, hair and other dirt before they reach the activated carbon. It does not have its own max. airflow rating - it is protection for the carbon filter, not the filter itself.

Fitting and maintenance

It is fitted on the outside of the filter for intake configuration, or inside the filter chamber for exhaust configuration. The pack contains 2 pieces, reusable and machine washable - recommended replacement or washing after approx. 6 months of continuous operation.
