Pre-filter for the most common size - DCF6 and RCF6 (150 mm)

AC-PFC6 is a pre-filter fabric sleeve for carbon filters with a diameter of 150 mm (6") - the most commonly used size in growing ventilation systems, whether it is the standard DCF6 or the refillable RCF6.

Dimensions and design

The sleeve is made of breathable polyester with 100% air permeability, with a material thickness of 1.5 mm (0.05"), and overall dimensions of 22.6 x 35.0 cm. The design is precisely shaped (pre-cut) for 6" filters, and the colour is black.

How the fabric protects the carbon filling

The fabric is pulled over the filter and captures dust, hair and other impurities before they reach the activated carbon. It has no separate maximum flow rate specification - it protects the carbon filter rather than being a filter itself.

Fitting and maintenance

It is fitted on the outside of the filter for an intake configuration, or inside the filter chamber for an exhaust configuration. The pack contains 2 pieces, which are reusable and machine washable - replacement or washing is recommended after approximately 6 months of continuous operation.
