SANlight STIXX 50 is the smallest and simplest light in the STIXX range - unlike the modular models, it comes as a complete unit with its own integrated dimmable power supply unit. You do not need to source a separate driver or dimmer for it: plug it into the mains and light up. It delivers 150 µmol/s in a full spectrum and IP68 protection also handles more humid environments. It is a practical choice for small growing spaces and individual plants.

Closed system - a different generation than modular STIXX

STIXX 50 is a standalone unit: a light with its own power supply unit. Although its connector looks physically similar to that of modular STIXX, it is a separate, closed system - it is dimmed exclusively with its own rotary switch on the power supply unit in steps from 10 to 100 %.

Do I need a separate driver or dimmer for STIXX 50?

No. Unlike the other STIXX models, STIXX 50 has the power supply unit and dimming integrated directly into the unit. It is supplied as a complete unit with a mains plug - plug it into the socket and dim the light with the rotary switch on the power supply unit in steps of 10, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 %. A separate driver or dimmer does not need to be purchased.

Can I connect STIXX 50 to the STIXX 2-60 driver or control it with a SANlight dimmer?

No. STIXX 50 is a closed system and does not use modular drivers or M19 cabling from the STIXX 2-60 to 6-150 range. It is not compatible with either the magnetic M-Dimmer or the SANlight Bluetooth Dimmer. If you want a modular and expandable setup, choose the STIXX 2-60 model and above with a separate driver.
