Connect SANlight to the GrowControl system

With this adapter, you connect a SANlight EVO light or STIXX driver to the GrowControl control unit (GrowBase and GrowBase Pro). It converts the waterproof Wieland dimming connector of SANlight to RJ45, which GrowControl uses - so you can integrate the light into the automation of the entire growing area.

Incompatible:

• Q-Series Gen2 - has a separate GrowControl adapter (different SKU)
• FLEX II - does not have a SANlight dimming connector

The adapter connects to the blue dimming connector, not to the power supply. Controlling via a different system? For Trolmaster, AC Infinity, VIVOSUN or Spider Farmer controllers, the Trolmaster adapter (RJ12) is intended.

Frequently asked questions

Does the adapter work on Q-Series Gen2?

No. This GrowControl adapter is intended for the EVO and STIXX series. For Q-Series Gen2, SANlight offers a separate adapter with its own code - do not use this part for it. It is also not suitable for FLEX II, which has a different system and does not have a SANlight dimming connector.

What does the GrowControl Adapter connect?

The adapter connects a SANlight EVO light or STIXX driver to the GrowControl GrowBase or GrowBase Pro control unit. On one side it has the waterproof Wieland dimming connector of SANlight, on the other RJ45 for GrowControl. It therefore allows you to control the light intensity via the central GrowControl system.

How many adapters do I need?

You need one adapter per light. If you want to control more lights via GrowControl, you handle branching with GrowControl Y-distributors, not with the adapter itself. The adapter is about 2 m long, so it can reach from the light to the control unit even over a greater distance.
