Rodenticides deal with rodent control in the garden, in farm buildings and around the house.
The most commonly used are ingestible baits in the form of pellets, grain or wax blocks and maxipellets, which are placed in areas where house mice, rats or brown rats occur. Fluorescent soft baits also make it easier to check where rodents are moving.
For those who want to deal with the problem without chemicals, mechanical and plastic traps for mice and rats are available, as well as special traps for voles and root rats, which damage plant roots in the garden. A 2-in-1 rodent control station then combines protection against rodents with a glue trap for insects.
When choosing, it depends on whether you are dealing with a one-off occurrence or long-term protection of a larger area - for the latter, ingestible baits are more suitable, while traps are enough for targeted capture of individual animals.
