The most popular Eco Line size, the K2602 model with a 150 mm flange keeps odours under control even at an airflow of 620 m3/h. The Prima Klima K2602 carbon odour filter from the Eco Line range captures odour molecules in a 3 cm bed of highly activated carbon, so only clean, odour-free air leaves the extraction system. The 150 mm flange connects to ducting and a fan of the same diameter - keep the filter, ducting and fan at one diameter of 150 mm. It is suitable for a tent measuring approximately 100 x 100 to 120 x 120 cm at an airflow of up to 620 m3/h (optimally around 475 m3/h).

How a carbon filter works

Activated carbon works like a battery: air passes through the carbon bed and organic odour molecules are captured in its microporous structure. Quality is determined by the CTC value and iodine number (how many substances the carbon absorbs), together with the bed thickness - the longer the air remains in contact with the carbon, the more effectively odours are removed. Prima Klima fills the Eco Line with anthracite CTC75 pellets (3 mm), which have low pressure resistance and also cope well with higher humidity. Once exhausted, the carbon can be topped up or replaced; the entire filter does not need to be discarded.

It is compatible with any 150 mm fan with a suitable output; within the Eco Line range, it is followed by the 160 mm version and the larger K2603 900 m3/h.

Can the carbon be replaced?
