Prima Klima K2602 - clean odour-free extraction (100 mm flange)

With its wider 230 mm diameter body, the Eco Line K2602 holds over two and a half kilos of carbon even with a narrow 100 mm flange. The Prima Klima K2602 carbon odour filter from the Eco Line range captures odour molecules in a 3 cm-deep bed of highly active carbon, so only clean, odour-free air leaves the extraction system. The 100 mm flange connects to ducting and a fan of the same diameter - keep the filter, ducting and fan at one diameter of 100 mm. It is suitable for a grow tent measuring approximately 100 x 100 to 120 x 120 cm at an airflow of up to 620 m3/h (optimally around 475 m3/h).

How the carbon filter works

Activated carbon works like a battery: air passes through the carbon bed and organic odour molecules are captured in its microporous structure. Quality is determined by the CTC value and iodine number (the amount of substances the carbon absorbs), together with the bed thickness - the longer the air remains in contact with the carbon, the more effectively odours are removed. Prima Klima fills the Eco Line with anthracite CTC75 pellets (3 mm), which have low resistance to airflow and cope well with higher humidity. Once exhausted, the carbon can be topped up or replaced; the entire filter does not need to be discarded.

You can easily calculate the required airflow: multiply the room volume (length x width x height in metres) by 60 and compare the result with the filter's maximum output. It is compatible with any 100 mm fan with a corresponding output; in the Eco Line range, it is followed by the smaller K2601 480 m3/h 125 mm version.
