Advanced Hydroponics pH Minus for Bloom
Code: AH-B05Related products
Product detailed description
Advanced Hydroponics pH minus for bloom is a concentrated pH reducer for nutrient solution for growers who measure and control pH. The active ingredient is phosphoric acid at a concentration of 60%, supplemented with buffering agents intended for the bloom phase. You can use it in hydroponics, in coco and in soil whenever your ready-made feed comes out above the target range. At European distributors it is sold under the name pH-Down Bloom.
How to reduce pH with it
The target pH of the nutrient solution in the Advanced Hydroponics range is 5.8 to 6.2. Adjust it only in the ready-made feed, that is, when all fertilisers and additives are in the water. Add the concentrate in small doses, mix the solution after each dose and measure again. How much you will need depends on your water and on the fertilisers used - it is therefore dosed according to measurement, not according to a fixed number.
Safe handling of the concentrate
It is a strong acid that can cause injury. Put on protective goggles and rubber gloves, do not inhale the fumes and work in a well-ventilated area. Always pour the concentrate into water, never water into the concentrate. Store the bottle tightly closed, out of reach of children and separately from pH plus - acid and alkali do not belong on the same shelf.

Frequently asked questions
What pH should I keep in the feed?
For the Advanced Hydroponics range, the target is 5.8 to 6.2. In general, growers in hydroponics and coco keep it roughly between 5.5 and 6.5, and in soil rather between 6.0 and 7.0. pH controls nutrient uptake: outside the range, the plant will not take up some elements even if they are in the solution. Measure the ready-made feed, not the tap water itself.
How much pH minus per litre of feed should I add?
There is no fixed number. The required amount depends on the hardness of your water and on the fertilisers you have mixed into it. Proceed in small doses: add, mix, measure, and only then continue according to the result. A concentration of 60% means it is a strong product and overshooting downwards is easier than you expect.
Why can’t pH minus be sent by carrier?
Because it is a concentrated acid. Such goods are not transported by carriers and are not delivered to collection points either, so you can order it only for personal collection. If you need pH adjustment sent to your home, choose organic or dry products that can withstand transport - you will find them in the same pH adjustment category.
