Filter for high-volume 200mm systems

AC Infinity DCF8 is an inline carbon filter with a 200 mm neck diameter for larger grow tents and more demanding air extraction. It removes odours and chemicals from extracted air and withstands long-term operation in both intake and extract configurations.

Carbon bed and adsorption

The filter media consists of Virgin Australian activated carbon (Virgin Australian RC412) with a rating of 1200+ IAV in a 38 mm layer. The maximum air flow is 770 CFM (1308 m3/h).

Durable construction for humid environments

The flange is made of aluminium, double-sided rotatable, and with a length of 8.6 cm it is among the longest in the DCF range. The grille is made of galvanised steel with a gunmetal finish (dark grey), resistant to corrosion.

Choose the matching fan and accessories (200 mm)

Pair the DCF8 filter with a fan and ducting of the same 200 mm diameter. Activated carbon in the ducting creates resistance and reduces the actual air flow of the system - therefore the fan should be chosen with a reserve above the tent's requirement:

Frequently asked questions

Which fan is the DCF8 filter suitable for?
It has a 200 mm flange and is suitable for CLOUDLINE S8 and T8 fans of the same diameter.

Does the filter need to have the same or higher air flow than the fan?
Do not judge it by the filter rating. The CLOUDLINE 200 mm fan has a stated max. air flow of 807 CFM (approximately 1371 m3/h), the DCF8 filter 770 CFM (1308 m3/h) - the values are close. In addition, the filter in the ducting reduces the actual air flow of the system due to the resistance of the carbon, so the fan should be chosen with a reserve.

Why does the DCF8 have a longer flange than the other sizes?
The DCF8 flange measures 8.6 cm, which is significantly more than the other sizes in the range (3.7-5.2 cm) - it makes connecting to ducting of the same diameter easier.
