Pre-filter for large 200mm DCF8 and RCF8 filters

AC-PFC8 is a pre-filter textile sleeve for carbon filters with a diameter of 200 mm (8") - a size used in larger growing spaces, whether it is the standard DCF8 or the refillable RCF8.

Why use a pre-filter with a large filter

The textile is slipped over the filter and captures dust, hair and other dirt before they reach the activated carbon, thereby extending its service life. It does not have its own max. airflow rating - it does not replace the filter, it only protects it.

Material and workmanship

Made from breathable polyester with 100% airflow permeability, material thickness 1.5 mm (0.05"). The design is precisely shaped (pre-cut) for 8" filters, black in colour, overall dimensions 27.7 x 45.0 cm.

Installation according to airflow direction

The textile is fitted from the outside of the filter for intake configuration, or inside the filter chamber for exhaust configuration.

Machine washable

The pack contains 2 sleeves - reusable and machine washable. Recommended replacement or washing is after approx. 6 months of continuous operation.
