The TrolMaster WN-9 Substrate Sensor Node is a professional measuring probe designed for the WCS-9 Substrate Sensor system. It is used for accurate root zone monitoring in conventional soil substrates as well as in inert media with higher EC values.
The sensor uses durable stainless steel measuring tips to continuously monitor the volumetric water content (VWC) and electrical conductivity (EC) of the substrate. It also includes an integrated precision temperature sensor to monitor root zone temperature, allowing more effective control of conditions during cultivation.
The WN-9 is designed for advanced multi-point measurements using Daisy-Chain interfacing. Up to four Sensor Nodes can be connected to a single system, allowing for more accurate average readings across the entire growing medium and eliminating inaccuracies caused by local variations.
