How do I choose the right fan output?
Start with the volume of the space and the required number of air changes per hour. Add a reserve for the pressure loss caused by the odour filter and the length of the ducting - so it is worth choosing a model with a higher output rather than a lower one.
Why is the Torin MDF Box quieter than a standard fan?
The motor with impeller is enclosed in an MDF panel with internal acoustic insulation. This absorbs a large part of the operating noise directly at the source, so significantly less sound enters the room than with a bare duct fan.
What are the flanges on the inlet and outlet for?
Metal or plastic flanges allow you to conveniently connect a flexible hose or odour filter. Thanks to them, you can easily connect the box into the entire air-handling system.
Can the Torin MDF Box handle continuous operation?
Yes, the range is built specifically for continuous running. Models from 500 to 7000 m3/h cover everything from a small tent to commercial spaces.
