Detailed information

Product detailed description

GrowStream 80 is large and fragile - it cannot be sent by standard courier. We dispatch it only for collection in store or by pallet transport.

Commercial aeroponics for eighty plants on one unit

GrowStream 80 is the largest model in the range - eighty growing sites on a channel 411 cm long (dimensions 411 x 97 x 58 cm). Even at this capacity, the system only needs a single water pump and a shared tank with a volume of approximately 170 litres, so operation remains simple even on a large scale. The roots grow freely in an oxygenated solution without substrate.

You harvest more from a smaller footprint without having to monitor any complicated technology. The system is driven by a single water pump in the tank, which at regular intervals forces the solution into the growing channel. The solution then flows back down the sloped base into the tank and is naturally oxygenated on the way, so separate air pumps and controllers are not needed. The roots grow freely in the chamber without substrate and have constant access to nutrients and oxygen.

Construction designed against leaks

You will appreciate the peace of mind during operation and cleaning. The growing channel has a removable lid for easy access inside and a double wall at the channel and the lid. The irrigation tube is routed inside the chamber, so no liquid leaks occur.

What you will need additionally

Add washed expanded clay to the system as support for the roots (you will find it in the expanded clay / hydroton category) and fill it with nutrient solution. Plants are best transplanted into the system already rooted from a cutting tray or propagation area.

Which GrowStream size to choose

The entire GrowStream range runs on one technology and scales by channel length and number of sites. From the smallest ten-site model to this commercial eighty-site version, you choose according to the number of plants and the space available:

  • GrowStream 10 - 10 sites, compact separate tank of approximately 45 l, for a balcony or smaller tent.
  • GrowStream 20 - 20 sites, shared tank of approximately 170 l, shorter channel for a smaller grow room.
  • GrowStream 40 - 40 sites, 211 cm channel, for a medium grow room.
  • GrowStream 60 - 60 sites, 311 cm channel, for a large setup.
  • GrowStream 80 (this system) - 80 sites, 411 cm channel, for a commercial grow room.

The 20 to 80 models share a tank with a volume of approximately 170 litres, so as the setup grows, mainly the channel length increases. You will find the whole range and accessories in the GrowStream / AeroFlo category.

Frequently asked questions

Can GrowStream 80 handle commercial growing?

Yes. GrowStream 80 carries eighty growing sites on a 411 cm long channel and is intended for commercial grow rooms where you need as many plants as possible on one unit. At the same time, it retains the same simple mechanism as the smaller models - one water pump and a shared tank of approximately 170 litres. For smaller operations, the 40 and 60 models are more suitable.

Do I need an air pump for GrowStream?

No. Even with the largest model 80, you do not need a separate air pump. Oxygenation is handled by the circulation itself - the water pump drives the solution into the channel and it is aerated as it flows back down the inclined base. Air pumps and controllers are therefore not needed, and expanded clay and nutrient solution are enough for operation.
