Large aeroponic system for sixty plants

GrowStream 60 takes the range into large grow rooms - sixty growing sites on a 311 cm-long channel (dimensions 311 x 97 x 58 cm), yet still only one water pump and a shared tank of approximately 170 litres. The longer channel means more plants on the same mechanism you know from smaller models. The roots grow freely in an oxygenated solution without substrate.

You harvest more from a smaller footprint and do not have to monitor any complicated technology. The system is powered by a single water pump in the tank, which at regular intervals forces the solution into the growing channel. The solution then flows back down the sloped base into the tank and is naturally oxygenated on the way, so separate air pumps and controllers are not needed. The roots grow freely in the chamber without substrate and have constant access to nutrients and oxygen.

Construction designed against leaks

You will appreciate peace of mind during operation and cleaning. The growing channel has a removable lid for easy access inside and a double wall at the channel and at the lid. The irrigation tube is routed inside the chamber, so no liquid leaks occur.

What you will need additionally

Add washed expanded clay to the system as root support (you will find it in the expanded clay / hydroton category) and fill it with nutrient solution. Plants are best planted into the system already rooted from a cutting tray or propagation area.

Which GrowStream size to choose

GrowStream is made in five sizes with the same mechanism - they differ in channel length and number of sites. Depending on the scale of cultivation, you can choose between:

• GrowStream 10 - 10 sites, compact separate tank of approximately 45 l, for a balcony or a smaller tent.
• GrowStream 20 - 20 sites, shared tank of approximately 170 l, shorter channel for a smaller grow room.
• GrowStream 40 - 40 sites, 211 cm channel, for a medium grow room.
• GrowStream 60 (this system) - 60 sites, 311 cm channel, for a large system.
• GrowStream 80 - 80 sites, 411 cm channel, for a commercial grow room.
